When I attended the World Science Fiction Convention in San Jose, California in 2002, I was astounded to discover that Zelda & Annie Gilbert, a master costumers, had completely recreated the dress worn by Odile on the cover of "The Black Swan". Worn by the beautiful Annie, it won first prize in its category in the convention's Masquerade. These pictures were taken backstage at the Masquerade, and I asked Zelda's permission to show her amazing work on this site. My thanks and admiration go out to her.
