In a mysterious twilight, the revelry of the Festival of the Moon begins. The seer Jewel Aterafin and her guardian Avandar, in native guise, venture into the land of their enemies, Tor Leonne, to discover the mystery behind the many curious masks given out by the demons of the terrible Shining Court.

The culture and land of Tor Leonne seems a fantastical mixture of Eastern beauty, restraint, and brutality, so I mixed Indian and Japanese motifs in my depiction here. An aura of tiny golden sun-stars symbolize Jewel's magical gift of farsight, and one can almost feel the noise and abandon of the crowd on this dangerous night.
