Every once in a while I get to do a humorous fantasy, and this was one very jolly story indeed. A scientist is trapped in a parallel magical medieval universe where he soon has Vikings riding motorcycles and tanks turning the tide of battle. A muscular leprechaun, a punk vampire elf, an unfortunate talking chamberpot, a sword called "Dwarfkabob" and Dr. Martin Brewster (who I thought should look a little like Hugh Grant) round out the cast of characters on this cover, while the Maxfield Parrish-like castle they are protecting fills in the background.
